“All my life I have been described as an ‘old soul’ because of my interest in vintage fashion, music, interior design, art history, etc. This led me to the name of my magazine. The magazine’s physical manifestation is inspired by the iconic Yves Saint Laurent Mondrian dress of the 1960s as well as the paper dress trend of the same time. At its heart, I’d describe the magazine with these topics: old world New York City, 60s, 70s, 80s fashion and music, New York  Jewish culture, maximalism, thrift and DIY culture, and nostalgia for childhood and times gone by”.
