Garment Designs

I created this jacket and skirt as part of my junior year final. Along with the look, I designed a character, Sonny (seen below), which I then developed into a print motif. Then I hand drew him onto white cotton twill fabric and hand painted 100% of the textile using fabric dye which I mixed myself. The jacket is fully lined with a magnetic closure, and I hand drew the Sonny pattern on the lining fabric as well. I hand stitched the face appliqués and the back profile overlapping pieces.
